Folks, you have been amazing. I am 100% convinced that you have helped to push this over the top, especially by engaging your individual friend networks, because I'm seeing a lot of new backers. I don't want to jinx this...but, things are looking really good in these final hours. : )
The Final Bonus Goal!
A few of you have been asking about the status of the "Bonus Goal" which unlocks an improved deluxe box and insert for the game! Last I checked we were less than 100 "interactions" away from unlocking this final goal.
Folks, this one is super easy to unlock! All you have to do is go to our Follow Us page on Odd Bird Games, and click on one or more of these yellow buttons. Each of these buttons will take you to the appropriate platform (or newsletter sign up) where you can then actually like, follow or subscribe to Odd Bird. Each interaction counts, so technically, one person can count as five (5) interactions. If you do the math, we need less than 20 people to click on all five to unlock the Bonus Goal!

Hey folks, thanks to all of your brilliant shenanigans—like buying an extra copy for your wife's sister's nephew, upgrading your pledge, or prepaying shipping—we are inching closer and closer to our goal. Of course, we have some FRESH new backers too, so thanks to everyone spreading the word!
One potential treasure trove of pledge monies remains with those of you who make up our beloved $1 backers. Now, everyone, be kind, because, I purposely included a $1 pledge as a reward, so that folks who were on the fence or didn't have access to the funds just yet, could see how things go, comment on the project, get some nice updates... and...have a little more time to fully decide. (I'm nice like that). Of course, now...with 64 hours left, it would be brilliant, if you took the full plunge...but, totally up to you. : )

This UPWARD trajectory seems to be lifting everyone's mood! We only need a lucky $13K to get over the fortress wall! Thanks for all your pledge upgrades, and social media shout outs—It's really working!
Keep Spreading the Word
Things have been so crazy lately, that I forgot to share some links you might find interesting (and shareable). ; )
Oh, also there have been some questions lately, so I added an FAQ section that capture a lot of them. Also, I'm including them here too: (Feel free to ask any more!)
Q: Is the Fled Playmat cloth or neoprene? A: It's neoprene all the way, with printing extending onto the threaded border! It's a fantastic playmat...right down to the whimsical details sprinkled in by Klemens Franz. : )
Q: How big is the playmat exactly? A: The neoprene playmat is 21 x 22.55 or 571 x 531 mm. the gird is 13 x 14 "squares"
Q: Can you give us more details on solo play? Is it a beat your own score or are there victory conditions? Is there an AI opponent? A: You can learn all about the solo expansion, The Specter, along with the base game rules and the Governor's Hound right here in this Download Rules link. (You can also look for the "Download Rules" banner featuring the little mouse on the site! Essentially, you go up against the Specter, who, along with the warders, try to thwart you from escaping. It's you against the clock, and there's a push your luck element, because you get different ratings based on how many vp you have when you escape. Wait too long to escape, and it might be too late!
Q: I heard that there's a way to give the campaign a boost by prepaying my shipping through something called "bonus support"? A: You can learn all about this nifty trick in Fled Update #7.
Q: Might the playmat be available as an add-on? I’m interested in the playmat but not the extension. A: Yes, the playmat will be a standalone add on, as will be the Specter expansion... just in case you want to add stuff in the pledge manager later.
Q: I'd like to order another copy for my grandchildren as I think it would be a great family gift. How do I do that? A: If you want to order multiple copies of the game or multiple versions of your reward level right now (instead of waiting for the pledge manager), simply "update pledge" and the add that amount next to "Bonus Support." All monies added here will be SPENDABLE CREDIT you can use in the Backerkit pledge manager... to spend as you see fit. There's actually a diagram on how to do it in Fled Update #7.

...We are sooooo close!! I will be working HARD the next 7 days to rally the masses in the final stretch. In the meantime....
...there's one CLEVER little thing that you COULD do to help get this thing funded!
Typically, shipping gets charged after the campaign in the pledge manager...however, you could add your shipping cost to your pledge NOW under "bonus support" as that becomes spendable credit in the Backerkit pledge manager that you can use towards anything, including shipping!
It's super easy....Here's how:
Click "Manage" and then select "Update pledge"
Under "Bonus Support," enter a dollar amount $ that covers your shipping cost (You can consult the chart on the Kickstarter page to see your estimated shipping cost).
Click "Done"
After the campaign, the "Bonus Support" you've entered will automatically apply to anything owed, including shipping!
If you'd rather wait, that's totally fine. I don't want to twist anyone's arm. Naturally, I'm just trying to think of creative ways to make sure that FLED gets funded!

My backers may be humble in numbers, but they are mighty in spirit....And, very kind in word and deed! Therefore...
I’ve decided to reward all backers with, well…. everything.
Starting NOW, all stretch goals are hereby UNLOCKED and available to ANY and ALL who back this campaign. You will be delighted to see that all stretch goal rewards join together to form an expansion called, FLED: The Governor’s Hound, featuring six tiles, a rulebook and a splendid dog meeple—all neatly tucked into the Kickstarter edition of Fled.
This $15 mini expansion is not only FREE…it's dog gone fun!
Unlike his master, the hound is a kind soul, eager to please. Typically, you must carefully sneak from room to room to collect contraband. However, the little dog will gladly fetch the items you need—for a tasty bone! The Governor’s Hound expansion adds some clever strategy to the game and a way to outwit the pesky warders in your quest to escape!
Now, some might be thinking… “Mark, this is spectacular…how can we ever repay you?” ; ) Well, to help the campaign fund and get this nifty expansion...
...I ask you to consider the following:
If you’re a $1 backer, please consider backing NOW at the $40 reward or higher
Please consider upgrading your existing pledge to a higher reward level
Finally, retailers, if the $250 pledge proves too daunting, please back at the $50 level and leave me a note to follow up with you, and we'll fine tune your final order.
For the few who might be thinking, that "ain't nothing but a hound dog," I did not mean to bark up the wrong tree. ; ) But, I assure you, this expansion is as fun to play as it was to create! I know you will love it.
