First, Your Survey is Coming...Yay!
ANY day now you’ll receive an email with a special Backerkit survey link! Just click on it to confirm and/or add the rewards you want, and take care of shipping! This lets us actually deliver your reward...so, please do this as soon as you get it. : )
After you respond, you can go back later to change responses (a change of address, for example) at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you lost the link to your survey and need a new one, just visit https://fled.backerkit.com and enter your email to get your survey again! If you have a question, or want your survey sent to a different email, just visit Backerkit Support at https://fled.backerkit.com/faq#contact-us and let us know!
Second, Late Pledges are Now Open...Woo Hoo!
Tell your friends who missed the boat that we will allow late pledges for a limited time. They can just go to the Fled Kickstarter page and click the "Late Pledge Open" button.

So what's next?
First, we have to confirm all orders and find out and where we need to ship them. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information early next week, so keep your eyes open!
The invitation email will contain a link to your personal survey. Please submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards. You'll be allowed to confirm/upgrade or choose your reward, purchase add-ons, and finalize shipping.
If you need to change your survey responses at some future point, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
Answering your survey quickly helps us get your rewards out to you faster. Again, thanks for all your support. We can’t wait to send you your survey.

Okay, I've had my Venti Iced Vanilla Latte and my Ham & Swiss Croissant from Starbucks... and I can now gather and collect my thoughts a little better.
What's Next?
In the near future, I'll provide you with another update about what to expect from the Backerkit Pledge Manager. In short, you'll receive an invitation to confirm your pledge and be able to pay for shipping, upgrade your reward, add "add-ons," etc. So, stay tuned for that update. ...Now... about the past 30 days..... : )
...Ahhh, to be enlightened.
Whoa. What a wild ride this has been, huh? It's true...I set a higher than usual funding goal...for two reasons...First, I wanted to do a solid print run so that games wouldn't run out too quickly. Second, freight costs have gone up over the years, so that was a factor. Going into this, many fellow publishers and board game influencers were applauding me for being brave and setting a "realistic funding goal," ....however....
While it all worked out in the end, I think I've learned something about human psychology. People like to back an "early winner" (e.g. funded in 24 hours!), and they don't like to be scared along the way. In fact, one of you said in the comments, "I NEVER stick with a pledge that barely funds...Fled will be my first exception." While, I'm glad to be an anomaly here, I don't think I like putting backers (or myself) through the anxiety related to the fear of NOT funding. Yes, there's definite risks for publishers who set a goal too low and wind up with little or no funds to work with....but, I think it can be a calculated risk.
Therefore...from here on out, I plan to set lower funding goals in the future...including the one I'm setting for my May 14th Feudum Septennial campaign on Gamefound! So, be sure to follow the campaign now for a free gift!
